I Use to live in a city with a newspaper.
This is it...
now the paper is owned by Gannet and it has been turned into a left wing rag that supports left wing Democrats.
Over the last few years the paper has supported and promoted Democrats exclusively. Recently the paper has really overdone its schilling for Joe Biden.Its bad enough that the paper refused to allow its readers to read bad things about Joe has gone out of its way to support Joe's book,"Promises to Keep"
Our Joe has been running a fruitless campaign to become the President of the USA.This has become so bad the Joe has been quoted saying that he would miss several votes in the Senate. The job that we from Delaware sent him to Washington to do.
Recently however it appears that Joe might have had second thought about the missed vote statement and running for President. I assume that Joe heard from his handlers that some voters were not happy with the comment and the other prevalent belief in Delaware that Joe was really running for a cabinet position in whoever wins the Presidency(Democrat) cabinet most notably, Secretary of State.
Joe has had his News Journal shill,Williams to state that Joe really was not running for SOS. Over the weekend Joe missed a liberal blogger convention(?) that all the other canidates attended in Chicago to be with his people in Lower Delaware signing his book. The paper stated that 1000 people were at the bookstore to see Joe and get our heroes name written in the book.
Anyway this was about the fifth or sixth time that Joe was written about in the paper in the last week including a column in todays paper written by Harry Thermal a man who once was an actual writer but like most of the hacks in the paper has sold out.
Now that I finally have a phone I figured out a way to upload my photos to the blog.The problem that I was having was the inability to download the photo from the camera to my computer. Well I decided after listening to Diggnation
to simply email the pix to my email address.Lastgame is the first.

After months of doing nothing I have finally bought a cell phone with a camera.One Problem. I need to find a USB port wire(the phone does not supply one!) to place the pix into my computer. Well that wont take long. I will also have to get the "other" things to use the phone correctly.
Yesterday I pulled one of the more stupid things a person can do.
I went to work on a day that I was off!
I have tried to use my calendar to make sure that I avoid this stupidity and I could have checked our office schedule but I did not so i will go into work tonight trying to avoid the looks of amazement that I am sure that I will be seeing. DUMB STUPID ME!

been a really wet week here in Delaware but not wet enough to remind me of things I like.The first picture is of Kurt Vonnegut the remarkable writer who was read by a lot of boomer's in the 1960s and 1970s.Its hard to explain his style but i would call it historically telling. vonnegut wrote of real events and added sci fi to all of his books. He also came up with things like "so it goes".
That IBM thing is the flashy part of the old 360 mainframe that was the computer used by many large and some smaller corporations mostly in the 1960s and 1970s.
That was THE PC of those early times and was responsible for IBM domination of the market for years.
That looks like a photo of Leo Laport one of the people responsible for ending the IBM domination. Leo is closely associated with the PC and Mac which dethroned Big Blue maybe forever.
Finally we see The Xmen a comic that I read.Nice guys.

the changes in the actors looks.Dan made a lot of noise playing the main character in the play "Eqqus". Dan showed up nude in some of the play but managed to survive inquisitive minds.All three of the kids have reupped for the last two flicks so at least those characters will remain the same.The problem is of course making these actors look younger through the next two films.Hwood will prevail of course.

well its a while since I posted but I really need a phone with a camera.
I visited a tax preparer yesterday with my mom. Not fun. She complained about having to do what dad use to do when they went to the tp. Actually I told her that they spent a lot of time with her even when my dad helped. They were allways there over an hour. Yesterday stress from the preparer really hurt us and mom. She was overbooked and very hastily went through our papers. My mom thought that the tp told her that she would owe a lot of money NO.
